What a nice flag of the "Republic of CHINA"
Wang Hui@wanghui90
Lesson 1: #TaiwanIsNotChina! When I think of these two nations, this is what comes to my mind. My #Taiwan is a vibrant democracy where people are happy & we enjoy our 珍珠奶茶 watching #Taipei101 fireworks on New Year's. While #China has always reminded me of chaos. @MrLorag

@bxieus The ills of Chinese culture can be summed up in one sentence: it begins with hypocrisy and ends in shamelessness.

@GregWAutry @commiepommie Well, although you often don't even know who bombed Pearl Harbor, you know very well that Taiwan is not China.
This is amazing

What a load of lies. Formosa was indigenous (non Chinese) until Dutch colonized in in the 16th century. A Ming admiral fleeing the Manchu conquest of China set up shop there. The invaders eventually claimed it and a non-Chinese empress sold it to the Japanese in the late 19th century. Following WWII the U.S. took it from Japan and transferred it to the Nationalist government who fled there when Mao chased them out.
No functional Chinese Government ever ruled Taiwan from China.

🇨🇳💥 Taiwan Is China, The Facts They Don’t Want You to Know
For decades, the Western media has tried to twist one of the simplest truths in modern geopolitics: Taiwan is a part of China.
That’s not an opinion. That’s international law, historical record and UN-recognised fact, something even Washington officially agreed to long ago.
1️⃣ The History They Skip Over
🔘 Taiwan (then Formosa) has been part of China for over 1,700 years.
🔘 Chinese records like the Seaboard Geographic Gazetteer (year 230 CE) prove it.
🔘 China’s central governments have administered Taiwan since the Song and Yuan dynasties, with the Qing Empire formally making it a province in 1885.
Japan’s 1895 occupation ended with WWII, when the Cairo Declaration (1943) and Potsdam Proclamation (1945) ordered all territories seized by Japan, including Taiwan, to be returned to China.
The U.S. and Allies agreed. There’s no ambiguity in that history.
2️⃣ The Civil War and the Two Chinas
When the Chinese Civil War ended in 1949, the defeated Nationalist government fled to Taiwan, still calling itself the Republic of China (ROC), while the People’s Republic of China (PRC) was founded on the mainland.
But both sides claimed to represent all of China.
Even Taipei’s own constitution still claims sovereignty over the mainland, Hong Kong and Macau.
That means even Taiwan’s own laws confirm: there is only one China.
In 1971, UN Resolution 2758 made it official:
“The representatives of the People’s Republic of China are the only legitimate representatives of China to the United Nations.”
Taipei was expelled. The UN has since referred to Taiwan as “Taiwan, Province of China.”
That’s not a slogan, that’s international law.
Full stop.
3️⃣ The U.S. Knows This, They Signed It
The U.S. formally recognised the PRC as the sole legal government of China in 1979, under the One China Policy.
In their own words, Washington “acknowledges that all Chinese on either side of the Taiwan Strait maintain there is but one China and that Taiwan is a part of China.”
But the U.S. can’t help itself, it sells arms, sends politicians and fans separatism, all while claiming to “respect” the One China Policy.
That’s not diplomacy. That’s strategic hypocrisy.
4️⃣ Media Manipulation and Manufactured Consent
Western media turns Taiwan into a “freedom vs. authoritarianism” fairy tale, a ready-made moral narrative for Western audiences.
But it’s not journalism, it’s psychological warfare, designed to justify U.S. militarisation in Asia and provoke confrontation.
The U.S. isn’t defending democracy; it’s defending hegemony.
Taiwan is just the stage they’re using to try to contain China’s rise.
5️⃣ The UN, the World and the Reality
Today, 183 countries, including the U.S., UK, Australia, Japan, France and Germany, all recognise Beijing as the sole government of China.
Only 12 microstates, home to less than 0.5% of the world’s population, still recognise Taipei. Not one UN member recognises “Taiwan” as an independent country.
So when pundits cry “China’s invading Taiwan,” they’re ignoring their own governments, the UN and the very documents they signed.
6️⃣ The Bottom Line
Taiwan’s story isn’t about “freedom vs. authoritarianism.”
It’s about sovereignty, history and foreign interference.
🇨🇳 Taiwan was, is and will always be part of China.
🇺🇸 The U.S. knows this.
🇺🇳 The UN confirms it.
🌏 The world recognises it.
There’s no “Taiwan invasion”, you can’t invade your own country.
The only invasion happening is Western disinformation, designed to profit from chaos and sell “democracy” by the missile.
