it’s not my place to accept the apology but i’m glad a statement was put out instead of completely ignoring the issue and sweeping it under the rug. i saw some people say that they would like an apology directly from him, and i think we shouldn’t be attacking them since they’re the ones who were deeply and personally affected by this. accountability is the most important thing and we should be encouraging that he learn from his mistakes, because at the end of the day he’s still human.
