@MovieMPod @DanielRPK I did not. Buzz is smart in the movie, he was just in Demo and Spanish mode. During the dump scene, he was able to deduce that they needed to grab something metal to avoid the shredder.
In the Toy Story toons, he was able to make smart decisions. Toy Story 4 started it.

@bshsidhvs_gabi That is not true, Amity calls him and when he tries to hug her, she doesn’t let him and substitutes with a handshake. The biggest thing that wakes up when he realizes that Abomatons are helping with the Draining Spell. Plus, he stays behind to fed off in King’s Tide.

let off way to easy by the show and fandom it drives me nuts, he is a negligent father who is a bystander to the abuse Odalia puts the kids through and only really wakes up after Amity has to practically beg him to pay attention to her and the twins

@Partially_Fun That is not true, the real turning point of his redemption is Reaching Out. He actually listens to Amity and lets her make her own decisions. Even before that, in Escaping Explusion, Alador makes Odalia uphold her end of the deal. So, it wasn’t the apocalypse that woke him up.
