@starky88 all reasonable context, and I don't think Arsenal will win at Anfield or win the league, or win all the matches they start 1/2 or shorter to be honest. But after a draw at Villa which improves Arsenal's chances, the summary can't be another step towards the inevitable.

thought that was quite a strange summary by Sam Matterface, sounded like this was the final hurdle for Liverpool and they've cleared it. Still very likely to win the league but as an Arsenal fan I'm pretty thrilled.

@BenColeyGolf I think if it was City chasing them, knowing they had several seasons winning every game from January, it’d be different. Arsenal are currently winning games they could be drawing. Think the 3 games after West Ham will determine whether the narrative changes.

lose to City and Arsenal and that *could* (likely won't be, but could) be enough to not win the league. They don't have to 'collapse'. Again I think they'll likely win it but it just seemed like he'd very much underplayed this week in general and how things *could* look.
