@Shaboingboinng @MediumSizeMeech Short-term memory doesn't actually last as long as you might think. STM lasts around 20 seconds and holds about 7 items. After those 20 seconds (+/- 2), that information is either discarded as it is unnecessary, or transferred to your long-term memory. The more you know lol

@MediumSizeMeech You clearly never went to college lol. Most students study the night before or a few days before the exam because cramming helps keep the information fresh in their short term memory long enough to take the test
