Been living away from home since 2010, and many Eids since then have felt lonely or just not the same. Now, with my own family and kids growing up, the feeling of Eid and its joys is coming back even miles away from Pakistan. Grateful to Allah SWT. Eid Mubarak to everyone! 🌙

some of us go to the graveyard on eid to wish eid to those we loved, who used to celebrate it with us

may allah ease the hearts of children who’ve lost or are far from their parents, and of parents who’ve lost or are far from their kids this eid

eid can be hard for those far from family or those who’ve lost loved ones

mom used to buy me dresses and accessories for eid… but this year, i didn’t buy anything.
