Let’s talk about Design Patterns 👇 Design patterns are standard ways to solve common software design problems. Layman's Explanation (Real-life analogy) Imagine ordering a custom burger 🍔 at a restaurant. You could just say: “Give me a burger,” and get a plain one. But what if you want double meat, extra cheese, no onions, BBQ sauce? It’d be messy to create a separate recipe for every combination (CheeseBurger, DoubleCheeseBurger, BBQNoOnionBurger, etc.). Instead, you tell the Burger Builder step-by-step: “Add buns → add meat → add cheese → add BBQ sauce → done!” That’s what the Builder Pattern does — it builds something complex step-by-step. Technically: Design patterns are reusable solutions to common coding problems — like recipes you reuse instead of reinventing the wheel. Some common ones include: Builder Pattern – step-by-step object creation Strategy Pattern – interchangeable algorithms Pipeline Pattern – sequential data processing Observer Pattern – event handling The Builder Pattern separates object construction from representation. It helps you create complex objects gradually, instead of stuffing everything into a single constructor. Frameworks like Laravel, Django, Spring etc, use this pattern in their query builders. Each chained method (where(), orderBy(), limit()) adds one piece of detail — just like building that burger step-by-step. 🍔 When to use the Builder Pattern: When building complex objects with optional parts When the process involves multiple steps When you want cleaner, more readable code Below are some PHP and Python code examples. You can also check out the repository for more examples, which I’ll be adding over time: github.com/devMuhammad05/…

I have decided to quit tech. AI is taking all the jobs anyway, so I’m not waiting to be replaced 😭 Starting a poultry farm today 🐓 New career unlocked. Already got one male and one female chicken… we scale from here. Any tips to maximize profit?

some of you don't even bother about client side verification and it worries me. (This was pre-vibe coding btw)

she loved me, per her words, loved her too she started acting up till i saw her crushing cups with a dude in a car at 11pm i thought it was from Pinterest, apparently it wasn't, confronted her, she said just a friend, i just knew she didn't rate me, moved on and never looked back
bvchidra@bvchidra

i used to block her anytime we fell apart because i knew the moment she text, my soft spot will trigger immediately. now she’s not even blocked but i don’t feel anything when her messages come in, na God save me Guy, thank you heavenly Father, good shepherd, my Father my Father.

@starmandev they are making it difficult to believe them. They should just stick to what they have been known to be exceptionally good at, frontend 🌚

@eldivine With the decline in industry knowledge and the rise of AI-generated fluff, the screening layer needs to be sharper than ever to find real talent.

@eldivine Fair point I don’t know your specific process, so I can’t speak on that. My point was directed at companies using HR as a hard filter before the technical stage.
