@misselyseee @CultureCave_ Kali… one of the most interesting characters imo, and someone they could’ve brought back in s4 to set up an incredible arc for her and El in s5. Instead they turned El into a lobotomized GI Joe and Kali served as a random tagalong for 5' before being tossed away again.

Attempting a rewatch of s1 but I keep getting mad because every scene with Winona and Charlie is genuinely lightning in a bottle like the two most interesting characters AND two of the best actors on the cast just to completely sideline them by the end the duffers will pay

it’s just so jarring because stranger things season 5 was so bad that it felt incomplete. everything was ambiguous, telling and not showing, lots of plot holes. what was even vecna’s true motive?? ugh it’s been months but it’s so devastating
