@jjmaples55 Basic maths say that according to the current pace and avg team's ppg, 40ppg is very possible and much easier than 35ppg 20 or 30 years ago which was already done. Bam not even getting 43 pts 20 years ago let alone 83pts. Scoring in the NBA is a joke now.

Nobody is averaging 40 in any era. Outside of the sheer energy it takes, professional basketball coaches are going to make adjustments
