A recap from my POV of the deal leg leaders and Gov Scott reached on the GA motel program. Many gaps remain and new burdens are placed on people staying in the program. This is a “better than nothing moment,” but we could have done better if we were given more time. #vtpoli

We overrode the veto on H.217 to transform the child care system and update critical parts of our workers’ compensation last touched in 1981 and including ALL workers in unemployment system (small non profits were exempt). This bill is a big win for working families. #vtpoli
