@TraeWilson9 Working as a composer with a guy who is already a composer is probably hell
English

@staticbluebat I get why they never worked together again - by all accounts they did not get along one bit - but the specific magic of putting John Carpenter and Ennio goddamn Morricone on a film together is singular, even if a lot of it wound up unused (much to Morricone's chagrin)
English

@atomshaswaffles @TheGayChingy I played this a lot as a kid and no one else but me seems to remember it lol

English

@staticbluebat @TheGayChingy Dynasty Warriors was fun and brainless

@SchmanthonyP @GoFastBoat513 I truly did not know what venue it was when he posted it lol
English

@GoFastBoat513 You so weren’t promoting it that I even MISIDENTIFIED THE VENUE (I was thinking it was the FilmCenter, I’ve never been to either Drafthouse) and you didn’t correct me or clarify in any way lol
English

@SorayaSpaghetti unfortunately I still share the very basic opinion that it’s There Will Be Blood lol
English

Inherent Vice is PTA’s best movie but most of you aren’t ready for that conversation
Steven Powell@EllroyReader
I may be alone in this but I think Inherent Vice is a vastly superior Pynchon adaptation than One Battle After Another. It has none of the preachy, bloated and cartoonish tone of OBAA, and the broad humour works better as it is a parody.
English

@JFrankensteiner Hard to top The Wages of Fear as a title and he definitely did not rise to that challenge lol
English

@staticbluebat Loved finding out Friedkin's initial title was BALLBREAKER and then I was like, okay dude, maybe Sorcerer wasn't the WORST title
English
Jane Altoids retweetledi

Nearly half a century of people NOT watching Sorcerer because they think it's about Merlin or some bullshit
cowboy postbop@cowboy_postbop
are there other pieces of media with as wide a gap between its assumed vibe and its actual vibe as “Saturday Night Fever”?
English

@jailedamanda Even with that Muhammad also more famous than Michael Jackson lol
English

@PaigesConscious I am a smart woman attracted to smart women

@staticbluebat "Notes on Camp" was actually a book-length analysis of the Allan Sherman song "Hello Muddah, Hello Faddah!"
