I remember when everyone had a main and everyone used a legend they genuinely enjoyed. How is it that there was so many alter players and now there is none. So many octane players now everyone is on axle. I can’t even blame them it’s Apex fault on how they buff legends 😞 playing out of meta makes your games 10x harder.

@Skalonyde Exactly, it's not that deep. You use a roller because it has aim assist, you need a program to help you aim, to assist you in a hard game...aim assist. Just admit it.

I think you should try it first before you speak on it , I’ve tried it on 3 different controllers and my honest opinion I think it’s not good at all. Most of the time it gets in the way unless it’s close range , in the clips the “shaking” is just an exaggeration of someone having the settings high for the filter . It would only maybe benefit average players or below average but it would maybe be a 1% benefit to their gameplay . People are blowing it completely out of proportion

Yesterday I found out there's a "Filter" in some controllers that makes your stick "jitter" to improve aim assist close range, this was used by pros at LAN (allegedly), how can you use and defend using this shit, if I download a macro on my mouse that jitters it so I can have no recoil long range, I'd be instantly banned, now the problem is, its been banned in ALGS but ranked is gonna be infested with this shit. Just ban custom controllers already or atleast do something about it. Shit is getting really sad to be some of the only MNK players left in this amazing game (yes i complain about aimassist alot and i just need to get good i get it) but alot of people (chat) have said that its really sad to be a casual MNK player at this point cause its impossible to keep up

@Itz_Bimo True it's pointless, easy way to end it. Roller players just need to admit all there stats and wins was with a computer program holding there hand giving them a sense of skill. We just need to be on the same page that MnK players are and will always be pure and better.

Ngl the discourse around aim assist at the moment feels entirely pointless. Controller does need aim assist, controller does need to catch up in technology. But at the highest levels mnk players will always shoot worse then controller players but you can make up for that deficiency with good decisions making and survivability. Also I feel like the gap in shooting ability between the 2 inputs is closer then some of you guys make it out to be. If you’re good enough on either input you will find a way to the top.

Roller players get better by abusing new settings and act like they did something.

Looking at the balance by "long range" vs "close range" is not the best way of looking at it due to games being way more impactful close range.
But I will say, MnK players can keep up but you have to put in twice the work and understand that the biggest pro with playing MnK is flexability and survivability.
Other than that, best thing is swapping over.

would love to see the dev data that they showed to the balance department to justify this. Outside of certain keybinds and actions almost everything is doable on controller. Range doesnt even matter as much, long-range almost never exist outside of niche cases. Out of touch.
