@TitleCatsx10 @lisam1317 Once? Sure. Multiple times when it happened and that’s it? Yep, understandable. Which of those fits your posts? My broader point is that if you want people to listen and value your posts, saying the same thing over and over isn’t going to achieve it. I’ll leave it there.

@statsman74 @lisam1317 Gotcha, so everyone should just comment on something once and then just ignore it so others don’t form opinions about them. Like I said, it’s a meme and people are having fun with it, it’s not complaining. 🤷‍♂️

@TitleCatsx10 @lisam1317 No one is saying that the majority of Wildcat fans don’t wish BC well…but when such a high % of posts are about exactly the same thing…that’s not moving on….they just become that person that complains continuously that no-one can stand. But each to their own I guess.

@statsman74 @lisam1317 I don’t think it’s about being bitter or angry. We have moved on, but that doesn’t mean we cant have a bit of fun with it. 😂 It’s a meme that will last a very long time. I am confident the vast majority wish Bryce well.

@lisam1317 @TitleCatsx10 At some point everyone has to move on. There is no joy in being bitter/angry, and I doubt anyone truly feels better letting those emotions remain dominant for this long. We won a bunch of titles before BC. We’ve missed out with BC. The issue isn’t BC. Onwards and upwards.

@ChrisAnstey13 That gap from Bear to Jesse is incredible. Played 665 games but at such a high winning % - Spectres/Magic, Titans, Wildcats, Breakers. One of the greats, and truly underrated.

It’s great when players climb all-time rankings to reflect on how great players from previous eras were. I’m not sure people remember, or perhaps even knew, how great Tony Ronaldson was.

Going to be interesting how short or long the nbl semis are drawn out if each series goes to game 3. Adelaide start Tues and their venue booked out Sat 14th. Sydney start Wed and Quodos booked out Sat 14th and Sun 15th. Gf might go into April.

@NicNegrepontis My feel is that if you qualify for any game beyond the end of the regular season, then it’s the postseason and it’s a final. Elimination, qualifying, semi, preliminary, wildcard, grand - they’re all finals.

Andrew Dillon has about a week left to backflip on wildcard matches being classified finals before it gets silly here. Nobody is going along with that. Not even the teams would be silly enough to try and claim it.
Jon Ralph@RalphyHeraldSun

The official AFL ladder will have a black line under sixth and one under tenth. The league views top 10 as having made finals. What about boards assessing pass marks for their coaches when the Dogs were seen to have failed after missing finals at 14-9 last year? A head scratcher

Bryce Cotton won’t play in the Adelaide 36ers’ game vs the Perth Wildcats this evening, sources told ESPN. Blake Jones (NRP) flew in to Perth this morning. The 36ers are already locked in at #2 on the #NBL26 ladder; the expectation is Sydney beats Brisbane tonight to lock up #1.

@OlgunUluc If somehow BRI beat SYD….ADE leaving Cotton out - assuming he could have played if they felt the game meant more - is going to be widely discussed.

This development is unsurprising. Bryce Cotton leads the NBL in minutes (37.9 mpg), so any rest is extremely valuable, especially considering the 36ers have an Ignite Cup final on Sunday.
Olgun Uluc@OlgunUluc

The Sydney-Brisbane game is first on the agenda tomorrow. If the Kings win, then the 36ers are locked in at #2 and have nothing to play for vs Perth. The 36ers’ MVP candidate has logged very heavy minutes this season + they have an Ignite Cup final on Sunday. Food for thought.

The theory behind this is that Perth would rather take the loss in regulation by 1-4 points but stay in 4th rather than risking OT and losing by 9+

Hear me out on this situation for tonight. It’s tied with seconds left, Adelaide have the ball. When the ball crosses 24 seconds to go, Perth should intentionally foul, send them to the line and dribble out the remaining clock w/o a shot attempt to lose but stay 4th #NBL26
