Martha Hughes Cannon moved from a tiny 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 village to 🇺🇸 aged 2 - and went on to be the 1st woman state senator. A trailblazer, who founded Utah’s 1st Board of Health & pioneered women’s rights, she’s the first Welsh person immortalized in the US Capitol - & only the 14th woman.
