the uncanny valley of the aesthetics remaining largely the same with minor changes and then having mostly actors who look, again, very similar to the predecessors makes this feel like ai. like i know it's not ai but it feels like it. does this make sense to anyone else

@MaxJGao But I also feel like it’s the shows responsibility to make the ensemble cast’s plot engaging enough where you care about other plots than the interesting romantic dynamic

Sometimes I forget that people tune into a network procedural (with a big ensemble) fully expecting/wanting to watch a romantic drama centered around only two characters. There’s so much great TV across genres, but you have to remember the constraints of the show you’re watching.
