The Road Warrior (1981) is such a wild leap from Mad Max. The first is a gritty revenge flick, and the sequel is full-blown post-apocalyptic chaos with mohawks, spikes, and dune buggies of death. One of the greatest glow-ups in action cinema.

@Manly13plus @yang_yukino I’m guessing you dont watch ‘much league’ because it’s simply an awful game. I don’t know what a ‘more intrinsic’ game means, that makes no sense. Anybody can play league because it’s literally people running into each other - that sounds like a kinder playground

@stcampitelli @yang_yukino I don’t watch much league these days, it’s not my favourite sport by any stretch, but I find it far more intrinsic than AFL. Rugby makes sense, I need to go from A to B with the ball. Anyone can play league at a low level. Theres nothing natural about AFL, its a bizarre sport
