I created playto, an async processing payment pipeline in which users can withdraw the balance from there profile, few features that i created
> distributed locks using redis so the api gateway is horizontally scalable
> append only ledger and audit logs for restoring the payment to any particular checkpoint
> different wallet and ledger table to mark the difference between the balance shown on the profile and wallet balance actually availabe
> idempotency keys to ensure idempotency in the process during retries and concurrent processing
> celery watchdogs to clear orphaned process
> tested a lot of cases to make sure the backend respects idempotency with row level locks and idempotency keys
> at last created a small frontend using react with django google oauth library.
I didn't knew anything about payment related backends so I learned a whole lot, and will write few blogs concerning reconcilation, append-only and other things, probably a video as well explaining and demo my project.

setup update > reorganized the stuff organizer > moved all electronics stuff to 2nd table (its only a bb and arduino nano for now. rest of the stuff is stored somewhere else) > gonna use the server as a sandbox to compile and upload stuff into the microcontroller (yet to complete the nvim setup for it) > overall everything is a bit cleaner now
