If you do not know the Bible, you will be crushed by the enemy…..absolutely decimated…..it is your manual, your strength, your protection in this world controlled by the enemy, on God’s leash, until Christ returns….we have NO ability to serve the Lord on a narrow path IN OUR OWN STRENGTH…..NONE

How can you obey God if you don’t know his word??

Ok…..these tests quite frankly are tiresome…..necessary yes, for sanctification….but exhausting. So, a few things. However bad you feel, whatever the pain from worry or fear, no matter how distant from God you may feel, however much you have been hurt by someone you never dreamed would do so, regardless of your profound disappointment that has weakened your faith, regardless of the nagging question of “why me Lord? I am serving you with my whole heart?”……….. LISTEN UP! GOD has not forsaken you, don’t care that you feel HE has, you are wrong and tell satan to shut up As BAD as you feel, when you come out of this trial you will be in your knees in utter love for Jesus for the depth of HIS love you have never experienced before the trial…..and in humble adoration You will be residing in the indescribable peace that comes from this unshakeable trust HE is orchestrating your life for your ultimate good ….. GOOD…..a trust that is birthed from painful trials In the meantime…..remember, Jesus pleaded with the Father to spare Him from the cross….Jesus knew what He was about to endure…..tears of blood came from His eyes…..there was and is no greater trial than the Cross. AND through it came SALVATION……for all of mankind Mike, you KNOW this is not religious speak. You know whereof I speak. HE brought me through. GOD is not a respecter of person. HE WILL DO THE SAME FOR YOU! You will have to wait on Him. That is part of the trial. I have come ….finally….to believe that phrase I so often heard…..and balked at…..His timing is perfect….it is! Finally, people God selects for His purpose simply have to go through the refining fire. It’s just the way it is…..has to be actually…. LORD JESUS, Thankyou for having Mike in the palm of Your hand….give him what he needs in this trial….Amen
