@nothanksfrankie @imtheatan Yes police said they found the body in fetal position. Why so if you jump from that cliff, you can still position yourself in a fetal manner?

@imtheatan There's new photos of the scene with her body. By the manner her body is positioned, it appears she was in a defensive posture trying to protect herself from injury when she died. That's not the behavior of someone suicidal

🚨My Observations Based on Photos, News Clips, and Reported Timelines Based on the photos and video clips circulating from the scene along Kennon Road, I can’t help but think that some details don’t quite add up. From what’s visible, the location is right beside an active roadway, with vehicles consistently passing by. This area is not secluded or quiet enough “para magmuni-muni” or to do some deep thinking. There’s also no place to sit and think, no continuous guardrail, just a low concrete edge. What stood out to me most is that the drop toward the Bued River is not a sheer vertical fall. The terrain below shows rocks, ledges, and uneven surfaces before reaching the river. That suggests the mechanics of how someone ends up 20–30 meters down would be complex, not a simple straight plunge. This matters because it affects how the incident should be understood and reconstructed. I also shared a video interview of Usec. Cabral where she was asked about her “greatest phobia,” and she answered “heights”. See my post before this. On its own, it doesn’t prove anything; but it does sit uneasily beside the idea that she would voluntarily sit on, return to, and remain alone at a roadside cliff edge. The driver’s narrative, as reported, also raises questions for me. Earlier that afternoon, he said Cabral sat on the edge of the same area and that he warned her three times about losing balance. A police officer reportedly even told them to leave the area. After that, they ate and checked in at a hotel. Yet shortly after, she allegedly asked to be dropped off at the same exact spot, alone, and told the driver to leave and return later. As an observer, I find that sequence difficult to reconcile. If the location was already considered unsafe enough for a police officer to intervene, why return there? If balance was already a concern earlier and the driver had to remind her three times about it, why leave her alone at that spot? And if she was known to have a fear of heights, why would that same spot become a place of choice “to rest and think”? There’s also the timeline. The driver returned hours later at around 5:00 p.m., asked around, checked the hotel, and only reported her missing around 7:00 p.m. I’m not making accusations, but these are gaps and decisions that, to me, warrant careful scrutiny. These observations do not establish intent, guilt, or cause of death. But taken together: the visible terrain, the non-secluded location, the reported fear of heights, the earlier police warning, and the timeline as narrated — don’t neatly align. Given that Cabral had resigned amid a massive corruption scandal, had been recommended for possible charges, and was scheduled to appear before the ICI, the stakes are high. That alone demands a thorough forensic reconstruction, careful handling of evidence, and transparency from authorities.

I don't know, but this is just me. If I am the spouse I will do everything to know the reason why my spouse died that horrific death, let investigators do the autopsy, investigate the driver who even did a selfie with his Boss at the background sitting on that ledge.

Angat Buhay now has active relief operations in ten provinces across the Philippines, reaching communities hit by the recent earthquakes and by Typhoon Tino. With Super Typhoon Uwan, we know we will have to extend again, to places already exhausted, to families who have lost too much, too soon. Ang hirap minsan magdesisyon lalo na kung relief operations. Where to send food first. Which island needs water the most. Whose homes we can help rebuild, and whose we must ask to wait. Even with all the help coming in, hindi ito magiging sapat dahil ang lawak ng sakuna at ang daming kailangan tulungan. Hindi tayo dapat ganito palagi. Corruption kills long before the storm does. Every peso stolen is a home left unbuilt, a bridge left weak, a family left unprotected. We keep rebuilding what corruption keeps breaking, and the storm only finishes what greed began. The deeper betrayal is how this greed has left our people so vulnerable. We cannot keep calling these “acts of God” when so much of this suffering is man-made. Angat Buhay will continue to do what it can to bring help and hope, but we must also demand better, because our people deserve more than survival.

This is too much, even for Marcoleta. I mean, introducing a witness with a falsified affidavit? Wow. Lawyers have been disbarred for fraudulent notarizations. And it is definitely basis for sanctions by the Senate ethics committee.
iMPACT Leadership@iMPACTPH2019

LAWYER DISOWNS GUTEZA AFFIDAVIT IN BLUE RIBBON PROBE Atty. Petchie Rose G. Espera has disowned the affidavit of Orly Regala Guteza, a retired Marine who claimed to have served as a security consultant for Ako Bicol Party-list, which was submitted to the Senate Blue Ribbon Committee on Thursday, September 25. "I categorically deny notarizing, signing, or participating in the preparation of the said document. The signature and notarial details attributed to me are falsified and unauthorized," Espera said in a letter seeking the removal of a social media post on Guteza's sworn statement. She stressed that "the use of my name and notarial commission in connection with the said document is spurious, fraudulent, and injurious" to her reputation as a lawyer and notary public. In the disputed affidavit, Guteza alleged that former ACT-CIS representative and now Benguet Rep. Eric Yap delivered 46 suitcases filled with cash in Taguig City, which were later brought to a penthouse at Shangri-La at the Fort and a Forbes Park mansion. Guteza was presented as a surprise witness at the hearing by Senate Deputy Minority Leader Rodante Marcoleta, who said he was introduced by former congressman Mike Defensor.

DDS Demolition Job Masquerading as Testimony The so-called “witness” presented by Marcoleta in the Senate is not a whistleblower. He is a pawn in a well-coordinated political operation led by Duterte loyalists. The witness was brought in by Mike Defensor, a die-hard Duterte operative. Defensor’s 2022 mayoral run in Quezon City was managed by Edwin Rodriguez, brother of Vic Rodriguez, who was once Executive Secretary to President Marcos but was sacked early in the Marcos presidency. Since then, Vic has carried a grudge and turned full-blown critic of Marcos and his allies. Today, Vic Rodriguez has fully thrown his lot with the Dutertes—running for senator under the Duterte team, with Sara Duterte’s open backing. The pattern is obvious: the so-called witness is being used as a political weapon. Marcoleta, Duterte’s attack dog in Congress, provides the stage. Defensor delivers the witness. And Vic Rodriguez supplies both motive and machinery—revenge against Marcos and loyalty to Duterte. The allegations of “garbage deliveries” are exactly that—basura. A manufactured tale, coached and scripted, designed not to reveal corruption but to smear political opponents. This is not about truth. It is a classic DDS demolition job, weaponizing fake testimony to vilify reformists, confuse the public, and distract from the real issues.
