Thoughts from Finch Farm. Key takeaway for me is that, while Southampton sparked reflection among Everton supporters, for Dyche it remains a good display that his side did enough to win. That, and the 5 unbeaten before Saturday, driving prep for West Ham

@EFCClassOf85@LeeFMc83 it’s not unreal expectations though to want go to Southampton, and not play like where playing away to Barcelona. it’s embarrassing!
“Beat Southampton it’s 3 wins 3 draws and all of a sudden it looks different.”
BUT WE DIDN’T SEAN, nor did we deserve to!!!!!!
I really shouldn’t be surprised because every week is verbal sewage but my God, he’s unbearable.
@shaw_80 so your saying we are t good enough to go toe to toe with southampton or any team in the league for that matter. we literally treat every team like there prime barcelona he’s one boring negative twat!!
Have a day off with chasing a manager out again. We have no given right to beat any team in this league. We have a squad of about 20 players max and most wouldn’t get in a Forrest, Bournemouth, Brentford team. It’s going to be a Struggle until ownership changes not the manager.
@Richlloyd1984 cashing in assets we kept hold of branthwaite last summer and that boring negative twat of a manager keeps him benched the sooner he’s gone the better.
I’ve been accused of being Sean Dyche’s biggest fan but honestly I’d try and support any manager that had to deal with the absolute mess Everton football club have been in. No real money spend to and a club cashing in it’s assets every summer to survive isn’t going anywhere
“You don’t need to dominate these games with the ball, with all due respect to Southampton they have a lot of the ball but they didn’t really open us up too much” - Sean Dyche 🔵
And this ‘throw Michael Keane up top’ thing was funny at first
Now it’s just really pathetic
It’s like a 12yr old playing footy manager sort of thing
Instead of changing the approach, having a plan B, you throw a centre half up top 😂
Proper relegation fodder tactics
