@evelyas_outlet in Long Live the Iron Horse, there is a segment where the old workers cheer for the horse Buttercup, and the new workers cheer for Rheneas when the two fight, but to the majority of people (those who don’t know, if you will) it seems like senseless noise from a horse and train.

@evelyas_outlet Lemmy’s perspective on locomotive sentience is genius. It takes the inherent personality that locomotives have, given they are cantankerous machines full of life, and spins it on its head by making the faces there only to those who are intimately familiar with the machines. 1/2
