x.com/i/status/20479… 🦒: hello i’m shin junghwan, the bride’s younger brother. first of all despite your busy weekend, you have taken the time to be here today. on behalf of our/my family, i would like to sincerely thank all the guests who have come to celebrate my sister and her new beginning. thank you very much. now that i’m actually standing here, so many memories of growing up with my sister are coming to mind. i’m nervous and overwhelmed, but I’ll do my best to deliver my congratulations sincerely, even if i may be a bit clumsy. my eldest sister, until i was able to debut as a member of tws there were so many ups and downs. at every step of that journey, the help i received from you was truly immense. no matter how late my practices ended, no matter what time in the early morning i always came home to a meal you had prepared. even the gukbap we ate together while watching the sunrise wasn’t just a simple meal to me, it gave me strength beyond words. i still remember the day we cried our hearts out together by the han river during one of our hardest times. that memory is still so vivid to me. the streets filled with our memories from sookmyung women’s university station to suyo (line 4) remain places that continue to comfort me that even now whenever i pass by, i think of those days and feel emotional for no reason. back then everything felt so uncertain. but thanks to you, i didn’t fall apart. i was able to grow up well and become someone who can share love with many people. you used to save money on taxi fare, riding the subway every day even when you were exhausted. now i feel so proud that i’ve become a younger brother who can pay for your taxi rides. i hope i’m becoming someone you can rely on. lastly my dear sister, people often say that since i spent so many years as a trainee, i gave up my youth and they asked if i regret not enjoying my most beautiful years. but today, i can confidently say this.. because of you, my youth shone brighter than anyone else’s and it was always beautiful. for that, i’m truly grateful. if there is a next life i hope you’ll be born as my sister again. and to my brother-in-law, seeing you today i feel truly reassured as her younger brother. my sister may appear strong on the outside, but she is actually very warm-hearted and full of affection. just as she willingly lent me her shoulder when i was struggling, i hope you will now become her strongest support. to my sister, who is more precious to me than anything. i believe that my brother-in-law will cherish and love you more than anyone else. i hope that every step the two of you take together will be filled with joy and excitement. as her younger brother, i will always be by your side, supporting and cheering for your happiness. once again i would like to sincerely thank everyone here for warmly supporting my sister and brother-in-law and for making this occasion so special. i wholeheartedly congratulate the beginning of their new journey and with that, i will conclude my speech. thank you.
