Check out Flux Schema! Our brand new #FluxCD CLI plugin that validates manifests and helps AI Agents stop hallucinating Kubernetes YAML. After extensive evals my conclusion is that the Flux Schema MCP Server gets you 57% fewer tokens vs web tools. fluxcd.io/blog/2026/07/f…

Used cctop as an excuse to try Bun instead of my usual Go. Instant startup, genuinely fast, and bun:ffi calls straight into native macOS APIs. Compiles to a single binary too. Bun earned a spot in my toolbox.

I run Claude Code autonomously for days across terminals and IDEs with sub-agents fanning out into copilot, kiro, and gemini. I won't trade that for an agent manager, so I built cctop: a live top for CC to tame the session chaos. github.com/stefanprodan/c…

Creator of Sqlite on pull requests: "You say, oh, it's free. No. It's not free. What you're doing is asking me ... to maintain it for you, to to document it for you, to test it for you, to maintain it for you for the next 25 years. That's not free." Yep. Wise words from a wiser man than me. I've told people for the past decade and I have recent posts on here saying the same: the merge button is the easy part. Its the decade+ (Richard says 25 years) that follows where you've accepted the transfer of maintenance thats hard.

Our repos now contain an AGENTS.md file to help AI navigate the codebase. Point your AI Agent to this file and ask it to follow the guidelines and conventions described there. Before opening PRs with AI, please review it and make sure you understand it. github.com/fluxcd/flux2/b…

We've published the AI Contribution Policy for #FluxCD We require disclosure of AI usage on commits using the Assisted-by tag. The Signed-off-by & Co-authored-by tags must identify humans who can legally sign DCO, don’t fill these will AI product names. github.com/fluxcd/flux2/d…

On my way to #KubeCon ✈️ Monday at #FluxCon we'll be launching the official #FluxCD Skills. I'll be taking about ADLC and how we've developed AI Agents specialised in GitOps and Flux security. If you are going to vibe code your Kubernetes infra, come to my talk 😊

The insights command is hilarious. Told me it generated 400K lines of code while missing my top language. Actual count: ~110K. Off by nearly 4x 😅 If you want to get a more accurate report with a breakdown by language and project, point Claude Code to this script: gist.github.com/stefanprodan/2… Disclaimer: The script itself is 100% vibe coded 😆
Thariq@trq212

We've added a new command to Claude Code called /insights When you run it, Claude Code will read your message history from the past month. It'll summarize your projects, how you use Claude Code, and give suggestions on how to improve your workflow.

Actions map to custom #Kubernetes RBAC verbs giving cluster admins fine-grained control. User actions are tracked in the Flux Operator audit log, and the Web UI shows you which of your teammates has suspended a reconciliation. Docs here: fluxoperator.dev/docs/web-ui/us…

We've implemented #GitOps actions in the latest Flux Operator Web UI. You can reconcile, pull latest source, and suspend/resume, with more actions to come. Check it out: fluxoperator.dev/web-ui/ ♥️ Big thanks to the #FluxCD users for the feedback that shaped this UI release.

Last time I developed an app for macOS was years ago in Objective-C. To not spend ages on KSwitch, I went with a spec-driven approach: wrote the features I wanted in markdown and the data models in Swift, then fired off Claude Code and iterated over the dev plans for a few hours. It took another two days to get the code in a shape that I like, but I'm quite happy with the result. Using AI for tiny specialised tools is such a joy. Next up: adding a task runner. I have too many SSO profiles across all these clusters and various commands I run constantly. Having them in the menu bar, one click away, would reduce the churn. github.com/stefanprodan/k…

I made a tiny macOS app to help me organise and monitor all the Kubernetes clusters I run #FluxCD tests on. I have lots of these on my laptop, homelab and clouds, so my kubeconfig is always a mess. Check it out: github.com/stefanprodan/k…
