Your brain avoids effort. So when users see: • Too many buttons • Too many options • Too many paths They don’t choose. They exit.

Hick’s Law: More choices = slower decisions. You open Netflix. Scroll for 20 minutes. Watch nothing. That’s not indecision. That’s cognitive overload.
