Stellar Bonds is being made in Godot and the foundation of the game is called the Stellar Engine It will be open source, thoroughly documented and you will be able to make your own mario & luigi battles :)

@stellarbonds i'm not much of a reader (dyslexia), but i think it'd definitely be interesting! esp. learning about the struggles that are specific to a project like this 🤔maybe as a newsletter? galleries or short videos might be easier to make, it doesn't have to be frequent either

@stellarbonds instead of doing blogposts, i would rather see small video monthly (like the lenght you want, but 10 minutes is more than enough for exemple) about what you worked on ! Or if you do blogposts, I don't mind reading then but i would love to see some images.

@SinscoShopSoon We would love to, but Godot doesn't have native support to export for 3DS, which makes sense since it's an outdated console Someone is working on a Godot port that allows it although it is very unfinished right now... So we'll stick to PC (with controller support) for now

@thecrownboo We're making an engine that should allow you to pretty much design any attack without limits, thanks to a custom animation system, so you can literally *animate* the attack and it adapts to where the enemy is, as well as its height

@stellarbonds IM SO FUCKING READY M&L needs more fan games, with how well the battle system is, I’m surprised there’s barely any. The possibilities for bros moves/bros attacks are almost limitless
