The Ducks must love when Nurse is on the ice. He can’t make a breakout pass, he doesn’t clear the front of the net, he isn’t a threat to score. When Nurse is out there, it’s like we’re playing shorthanded.

Since 2023 Chris Bassitt has made 95 starts for Toronto to go with an ERA under four. Despite that…he didn’t make the Jays ALDS roster.
As a veteran he could have sulked. He didn’t.
Bassitt hasn’t allowed a run in 6.2 innings of relief this postseason. Massive.

@Jayde8700 Canada is obligated under law to assist citizens abroad, yes, even the unpopular ones. Bringing them home ensures they face justice here, not indefinite detention elsewhere. The same system protects journalists & travellers; you can’t just switch it off for people you dislike.
