@Pungis11 @Mirannabel this kind of stuff is very prevalent on tumblr as well though, theres people who purposely seek out things that upset them and then attack people over it. this also happened quite frequently before 2020 but its way worse nowadays

@Mirannabel Its just twitter imo, its the worst social media for fandom. The algorithm actively puts stuff you disagree with in front of you to drive engagement. It has none of the self regulating elements or moderation of Tumblr/Forums/Live Journal so fandom conflict is just far more common
