Riguardo poi alla Groenlandia, dopo la minaccia di Trump di annetterla, Parolin sottolinea che, pur apprezzando lo sforzo congiunto del governo danese e di quello autonomo della Groenlandia di trovare un’intesa con gli Stati Uniti, quanto accaduto “ha portato il popolo groenlandese a una rinnovata coscienza della propria identità”.
