@virginmedia Fix next Tuesday ! - 9 days without internet - account cancellation. I think the best compliment I can provide is thanks for being so terrible that I can make a clear decision.

@virginmedia hiya - had no Virgin Media internet (total blackout) since Saturday 10pm - that’s 70 hours with no explanation and a made up fix time that just moves back - SE23 London; as soon as re-established I am exiting for another provider - can’t even work !
@virginmedia@NYCES_ Semantics but no service that we pay quite a bit for ! First world pains and all that but it is a service you apparently provide and advertise as superfast (can’t be fast if there is zero internet) and with alleged good customer service but you prioritise new customers only.
@stentystenty@NYCES_ It's just a turn oh phrase, so it doesn't actually mean that's their arrival time. Means that's the estimated fix date going by the latest news from the field/networks etc.
@NYCES_@virginmedia I have zero internet for 114 hours by tomorrow at 2pm when the engineer has cycled from John O’Groats - customer for years but as soon as I can log back in, I am finding another provider.
@virginmedia internet outage Sat 10pm - now will be fixed by Thursday (maybe you will understand if I am sceptical as your engineer appears to be travelling back from New Zealand) - I live in London not the Outer Hebrides !
@virginmedia Thanks for your response. Can’t they provide any further details after nearly 3 days without any internet ? This never happened before so am worried that the problem isn’t fixed. I am ok as I am at work during day but my disabled house mate can’t do any of his work from home.
@stentystenty Hi Dewar, sorry to hear about your ongoing issues. Any fix times noted are only estimates based on the information we have at the time. 😔 Whilst we work hard to meet them, sometimes we need to extend them and this is unavoidable. The team will be working hard to get this fixed.
