@nikkibteaching I love this! I always think of Anita Archer and how she talks about only put what's absolutely necessary on the page and have the student do the cognitive lifting. That is so true of technology as well. It's a tool to express student's cognitive thinking, not to replace it.

How might having a sound wall like this vowel valley created for teachers- say in a faculty room- lead to deep discussions about phonology and orthography? Might it lead to sound walls in classrooms for kids with instruction from speech-to-print? Yep... it's happening.
