If you make cool stuff for your TTRPG players but are afraid you'll railroad them, here's a hack: make not seeing the stuff as meaningful as seeing it. Let them know what they missed when, possibly much later, it comes back to haunt them. Consequences are satisfying for everyone.

@mnnakamura hm i think it could be worth trying still. there’s an aspect of exploration and discovery that i really like about the game, although i suppose the combat can sometimes feel a bit tedious.

@stephbian I think I can find side-scrollers a little tedious? and the levels often feel same-y to me. I did like Metroid Prime a lot though! (a 3D one)

gamers: I need some advice! I recently wrapped up Hades, and I'm looking for another amazing Switch game. what are games you loved on Switch? I also loved Breath of the Wild. I am open to trying stuff from all kinds of genres!
