What your children really want for dinner is you! In an age of constant online connection, we may need to disconnect from technologies and other distractions to truly reconnect with our families. Families grow stronger when they set aside these distractions and spend meaningful time together—learning eternal values like the importance of marriage and children, the purpose of life, and the true source of joy. Parents also have a duty to teach their children practical knowledge apart from gospel principles. Families unite when they do meaningful things together. Happy family experiences strengthen family ties. Camping, sports activities, and other recreation are especially valuable for bonding families. Some may say, “But we have no time for any of that.” To find time to do what is truly worthwhile, many parents will find that they can turn their families on if they all turn their technologies off. What those we love need most is simply time with us. Our Savior, Jesus Christ, is our ultimate role model. He will help us as we strive to build these family bonds.

I know there is a lot of news around but can someone at the Beeb explain to me how a man they keep telling us might be the next PM getting an undisclosed donation of FIVE MILLION POUNDS from a Thai based crypto dealer (with a BS explanation about it being for lifelong security) is not even a news story when the man he wants to replace led the news for days over some glasses and Arsenal tickets?

#OTD 1994. Death of Labour Leader John Smith Having been 20pts ahead in the polls, he had taken apart the Major Government - mired in sleaze and incompetence: “If we were to offer that tale of events to the BBC…It might have even been too much for "Some Mothers Do 'Ave Them"

Whatever complaints MPs have about Keir Starmer, they are now descending into the kind of headless chickenry that - whatever and whoever the outcome - will make the situation even worse for Labour. If there is a grand plan starring Catherine West and a few PPSs, then it doesn’t feel terribly thought through. A period of calm would do none of them any harm. The general election is a fair way off. The next legislative programme is about to be unveiled. There are better ways to reach such an important decision and better times too. You are MPs not commentators who exist to feed a frenzy.

According the Telegraph, Starmer wants to 'take Britain back to the 1970s'. So that will mean secure well-paid jobs, ample housing, properly-funded NHS and social care, free tuition, student grants, final salary pensions, affordable rail fares and tap water that was safe to drink, then.

What disrespect has he shown United ? I don't want to see Rashford 'tracking back' chasing an opposition left winger into our half , I want to see him on the shoulder of the opposition full back waiting for that through ball. Only people who want to see Rashford - tracking back are opposition full backs and centre halves , they can relax
Zoomaraca 6:4:9@OpenshawDa37242

@terrychristian Its just giving him the same respect back that he's shown our club.. THAT moment when he started walking when the crowd had a pop at him for not tracking back was Rashford all over, a mardy child. I am sure every Casino owner in town wants him back over here

Obviously this story is going to roll and roll, and even after we have admitted “Yes, OK, Raya was fouled”… Jeff & Gabby still make some many valid points here that most football fans would agree with, particularly the PGMOL’s inconsistencies…

@terrychristian lets just have him back. United used to have 3 strikers, with OGS ready to come on at any time. We are going to need him for next season with more games

Rashford was inconsistent but the reality was INEOS wanted his wages off the books and he wasn't suited to Amorim's shitty system. There is no universe in which Cunha or Amorim are better footballers. Rashford 13 goals 11 assists in 46 appearances for Barca. Cunha 9 goals - 2 assists in 32. Mbeumo 9 goals - 3 assists in 31 games. Not sure either player is an upgrade
Ojo Arome@RomzyUnited

You have a player like Rashford on loan, who’s better than all our current attackers, a player that worth more than £70 million pounds but y’all want him gone for £30 million pounds just because of unnecessary hate

Ref Chris Kavanagh was guilty of a poor decision & has made a rod for his own back. Everyone will watch his next game to test his consistency. Fouls in the box at set pieces have gone unpunished all season & he's chosen the biggest game of the season to rule out a massive goal

@LizWebsterSBF @FraserNelson and also the coming apart at the seams of the whole United Kingdom. Boats increased with Brexit as did immigration from elsewhere. So the problem Brexit created was created by Farage, he will not be accountable for. But he will be accountable for the end of the UK.

🧵 1/6 @FraserNelson sees a “political new wave”. I see something darker: the final unravelling of the postwar welfare/universalist settlement that began decades before Brexit. Since the 1960s, scrapping Resale Price Maintenance, Thatcher’s deindustrialisation, endless privatisations (continued by every government, including Royal Mail under the Lib Dems) we’ve let corporations eat everything. High streets gone. Family farms under threat. Public services hollowed out.

A decade on, Brexit is still shaping UK politics. The data shows a clear trend: the higher the Brexit vote in 2016 the more likely a big Reform UK vote now. My column:- times-comment.com/elections
