I am so chuffed to be able to share our paper. It explores narratives of those frequently overlooked by researchers when assessing opinions & concerns on health-data sharing. Thanks to co-authors @Menzwa and @murtagh_mj, and all the research participants. journals.sagepub.com/doi/10.1177/23…

Can you advise or help, @discord_support? I don't understand how the account could have been disabled for going against certain rules when I hadn't even successfully joined a single server let alone post anything.

@discord_support I have just created a new account for a work related project. I got a new account and tried to join the server and kept getting error messages. Then I tried logging in on the app and got an email to say Discord has disabled my account. How can this be resolved?

In response to my column, a charity told me about their vital fundraising to help disabled people in Gaza. They provide anything from wheelchairs to physio support. The demand is staggering and all help greatly appreciated. Donate here: humanity-inclusion.org.uk/en/gaza-crisis

Job coaches sent to mental health wards is clearly obscene but it’s the natural end point of an agenda that equates health with productivity. If you believe humans are only valuable when they earn a wage, the NHS is a tool - not to help patients - but to get them back to work.

in england trains are so expensive that train companies make you buy a £30 discount card to get tickets at a normal price, but if the train company sells you the wrong ticket with said card you get a £500 fine and a criminal record for life

So, this afternoon I got home to find a lovely letter from @northernassist telling me about how they wanted to prosecute me for using the below ticket to travel on the specified route at a peak time. I paid £1.90 less than the fare they say I should have paid. A thread 🧵

I'm not quite giving up yet - I've asked my local MP to take up my case with TPE, and to also discuss the broader situation with Louise Haigh and push for legislative change. Public transport in this country is utterly broken, but it can - and must - be fixed.

Following this incident blowing up yesterday, and BBC covering the story of Sam Williamson, here's my timely story. It involves a late train, a faulty app, human error, pregnancy loss, and threats of court action. Buckle up!
The Man in Seat 61@seatsixtyone

Prosecution should be reserved for repeat offenders & *actual* fraud eg. dumbbell seasons NOT first-time minor infractions by mistake. This is an abuse of position which brings the railway into disrepute. (And for a while, South Eastern’s prosecutions unit was my responsibility)
