@shortoncache I think it’s fine imo, i personally agree that it’s a better story if she wasn’t given special powers. It’s Disney too, not like it was directed by a Chinese company

@Karmalize Hi there. These takeout boxes are for our A La Carte orders. However, we’ve been testing eco-friendly containers at select stores. We’re looking forward to rolling them out to all our locations soon.

If life is a video game, the graphics are great, but the plot is confusing & the tutorial is way too long

@dchackethal @DavidDeutschOxf Is schrodingers cat relevant - it's one theory that has 2 different predictions for a single action Heard the term "set theory" recently. It makes me wonder if your 2 theories arise from the same (assumed incomplete) set of information without anything added or removed

@DavidDeutschOxf Reviewing chapter 1 of BoI again. I can think of only one way to find a conflict between two theories: comparing their predictions and finding that they make at least one differing prediction when it should be the same. Are there other ways?

I'm driving across the USA, from New York City to Los Angeles. I'm going alone, it's something I've always wanted to do. also, I needed to get the Tesla to LA and didn't want to ship it. This thread will document the journey - this is mile 1.

@dchackethal Is there really no diff between people as explainers- considering diff types of intelligence? Someone with great oratory explanation might not effectively communicate to someone who receives information kinesthetically- I think these are preferences as well. Anyway, hormones?

@ster x is a universal y if it can do all the z's all the other y's can do. People are universal explainers. Any given person can in principle explain anything any other person could explain. That means in their ability to create knowledge, all people are literally the same.

How do we square gender specific preferences with universality? For example, most men are attracted to women. Presumably, genes *can* create preferences, interests, etc in people, but can be overwritten by the mind?
