@stereo_air It depends. There’s a lot of free amazing videos online from Sinix design, proko, and Marco Bucci. For illustration and character design courses there’s Schoolism and Visual Arts Passage

I used to teach at an art college. It depends on the student. Some know exactly what path they want & had great guidance on how to get there. Other students (this was me as well btw) don’t know what direction they want to go and pick a bunch of different focuses.

@LaurenWalshArt When it comes to finding those small programs, do you have any recommendations? I'm basically teaching myself art but it's tough without a guideline or structure & deadlines.

Also the landscape has changed a bit now. You can get all the same lessons and one-on-one mentorship from small programs ran by artists but you have to know where to look.
