NGL, it makes my eyes roll every time I unlock my Macbook and it has to flicker my 2 monitors on and off for 20 seconds straight, EVERY time, before it figures out what it's doing. Had this on my 2015, and just sad to still see it's here on a 2021 model. I still love it though!

Internet Explorer 11 officially dies in about 2 days. There (of course) is a website with a countdown: death-to-ie11.com IE drove devs insane and it’s fun to dunk on it but pre-Safari I have a few fond memories.

Asked Alexa to set a reminder while we were watching TV and it was super loud, so the wife said "Alexa volume down"...and it turned the TV volume down almost all the way, then loudly announced that it had. Alexa was basically like "tell me to be quiet, I'll show you!"

@Windows So far so good. I have literally had no issues as of yet. Not even with software compatibility.

Finally did the upgrade from Windows 10 Pro to Windows 11. Been 24 hours, and I LOVE these UI refinements so far. What an outstanding job. This is the right direction. @Windows

@Windows So far, completely stable. The simplicity that the revamp brought is the facelift that Windows 10 needed. The transitions subtle but elegant. The modernized interface with the rounded corners. The new notification area & sounds. One of my favorite features is the window splitting

Pretty exciting. Wasn't expecting this until January 2023 since that's when Windows 8.1 is set to die as far as support and it's the last OS where it's a default browser.

@austinginder That's pretty cool! Only reason I didn't use hover is the lack of dnssec support in the past. Is that still a thing do you know? My renewals are mostly in April so I could switch soon.

Did you know Hover.com has an undocumented internal API? It's scarily amazing to work with. I mean building something on it could break at any moment or work for years to come. Will do a blog post about it.

They told me on the phone that they modify the firmware to prefer performance over all, and increased the TDP past stock to be able to offer more than other manufacturers. I would think Intel has more into R&D than they do. Seems like a bad idea but they claim its usually stable.

They did a beta mesa update for the graphics to try and fix it to no avail. Now they have me monitoring temperatures over the weekend. Seems like more than I should have to go through. Kinda wanting to swap for a Macbook Pro at this point. Don't really have time for this?

Was insanely excited about my System76 but if I connect 1 other monitor I get frame studder and major input lag if running more than 1 monitor using the native HDMI port on it, not even a hub. Supports being good so far. Will keep posted. Should support 3 screens no prob though?
