Agriculture that is so efficient will cease and the methods that are world class in output per acre will drop to the level that it was during the early Victorian period. Famine will be the result. Actually the point you made is that for many years, I have believed that only two nations have successfully launched an invasion by sea with the support of naval and air power are the USA in the Pacific, the Us and the UK with Canadian support at Normandy and the UK at the Falklands. Yes it is frustrating that the projection distorts the dimensions towards the edges but there is no alternative way of projecting a sphere onto a single flat piece of paper. However, when you use maps that cover a smaller area then the distortion is mitigated. One kilometre in Greenland will be the same dimension as one kilometre in Zambia. The complete map of the earth on one sheet is not normally used for navigation because of the distortion. Smaller more detailed and accurate charts and maps are used.

Actually Pearl, and I do respect the effort you put in to understand what has gone wrong in society, I can’t think of anything better than coming home after a long stressful day, to relaxing in a well maintained home while a meal is finished and you get to enjoy and appreciate the effort that goes into maintaining the shared home and the meal prepared by your loved one is so much more satisfying than a restaurant meal and it is appreciated by proper men.
