@Attick47 @Sid_Seixeiro This genuinely worries me. I like Jack. He plays hard, never gives up on the play, etc. BUT he seems to get hit with a lot of pucks he never sees (I understand positioning is part of this), but I'm worried there's a regression coming, and it's going to be ugly.

@Leafssssss88 His cap hit is good for a 3C, and he would be a very good 3C/PP guy for the duration of his contract. The leafs need to come back next with with a 2nd line left and right winger, and a #1 defenseman.

@mirtle I never understood why they didn't try Roy on the top line as a RW with Domi (playmaker) and Matthew's (shooter). Roy has sneaky good hands and a shot. Such a waste.

Roy's most common linemate was Dakota Joshua. And he was on the ice in defensive situations with Simon Benoit a lot, too. I'm sure he'll produce more with Avs.

Craig Berube said yesterday that Nicolas Roy's offensive output wasn't where the player or the Leafs would've liked. Worth noting that Roy's offensive-zone starts (32.1%) and shooting percentage (9.1) hit career lows in Toronto. Colorado might squeeze more offence out of him.

I know it's the internet but there's no need for name calling. I understand all of the above mentioned points but you're arguing things that have nothing to do with my point. Mcdavid, Mackinnon, Marner. Two of these guys care about winning, one cares about maximizing his cap hit/contract. Period.
