@penny_short Your certainly not alone have you tried one of the magnifying sheets on your map (Harvey Maps sell them) they are bigger than a magnifier on a compass so work well. The app zooms it so much but in reality you will probably use both. Knowing you can do it using a paper map is key

Have hardly slept, my mind's been buzzing all night. The thing I've found most difficult over the last few days and has really slowed me, is seeing contour lines on the map. That's been a real struggle, even with my glasses on, so much easier to pick out on the app. Am I alone?

@VertebratePub @TheSpineRace In the two years I did it Black Hill was my nemesis not sure why but it seemed harder than all the other hills strange as I have done it a few times walking (sometimes with Scouts) and it never seemed that bad

@TomTugendhat Your right but to do this we need more trades people & with proper apprenticeships where companies that do 80% of the training receive that amount not colleges you would immediately increase the number of apprenticeship places in this way and then you will have more houses built
