Every pitch, every swing, every step starts here. Home plate might be just one small part of the field, but if it’s not built right, the whole game feels it. We make sure it’s constructed with the right materials and precision so it plays as good as it looks. #DuraEdge#Homeplate#baseballfields#Groundskeeping
Another completed @DuraEdge amendment and laser grade. 1st picture was in fall 2 days after .3” of rain. Second pic is 1/2 a day after 1.75” of rain. Is laser grading worth it? Let these speak for themselves. Touch up and roll the following day. @AndyOmmen1
@UnitedTurfnTrak When having the tripod on the 3 rd base line are you shooting your grade to the 2nd base cutout or straight through to the back arc. Thanks. Trying to learn different ways.
After roughly 200 games on this field, we wanted to get the ABI out and laser grade the infields. Talk about an infield that doesn’t migrate! Look at those numbers after 200 games. If you are tired of your infield mix look to @DuraEdge !
WHAT A WEEK! We started with high temps near 90, then two rain days this week… totally 2”, wind gust at times pushing 50+ mph, now to lows right at freezing. Add in 10 games M-F per field, these @DuraEdge fields are ready for another 18 games per field this weekend!
@steve_turilli Most applications of a conical grade are as you stated. This particular field runs off all directions and has drainage to accommodate it.
@LanceProSurface I could not figure how to dm on twitter. With having the conical laser behind second base. Did you have the grade going back towards hp with a negative %. I have used the conical before from behind hp going out to the outfield and of course the mound. I am trying to learn.
Finished the infield expansion and mound construction this evening. Didn’t get a close up photo of the mound, which is a shame. I’ll be sure to get one when we return to roll it.
