@sharko67 That last sentence is exactly why very few teams play with a back 3 in the top leagues in Europe. Look at Amorim’s United - only the bottom 6 have conceded more in the EPL. If we played with a back 4 we don’t lose at least two of the goals. We’re wide open when a mistake happens

@yknjonsnow_ @TonyMcKelvie it’s a system failure for both 2/3rd goals. RCB takes a throw leaving MCB dreadfully exposed (2 on 1) when it breaks down for 2nd. For 3rd LCB missed tackle leaving MCB 2 on 1 and can’t block shot which GK should save. It’s why teams play with a back 4. Gives cover for mistakes

@nathangreennn Agree. He struggled to begin with and after about 5/6 months reverted to Ange’s system and it worked. Nancy is changing something that works (can be improved with more quality) hence the shit show we are in. How many teams in the big leagues play 3-4-3? But he knows better 🍀

I won’t have this revisionism. The position of strength we had in 22/23 disappeared when Rodgers came back. The club was heading in the right direction, he came back and we’ve slowly declined ever since. The squad, the playing style, the results, the recruitment, the buzz.
