C’est ça, l’entrée du pont Mercier, direction Rive-Sud. Oui oui… ici au Québec. On investit des milliards chaque année en entretien des routes… et on est même pas capables d’offrir une entrée de pont digne de ce nom. Des trous partout, un asphalt détruit, dangereux, gênant. C’est pas juste une question de confort, c’est une question de respect pour les contribuables. On paie, on paie, on paie… et en retour, on roule là-dessus. À un moment donné, faut arrêter de normaliser ça. C’est pas normal. C’est pas acceptable. C’est une vraie honte. #quebec #montreal

@mndamico I think there’s too much gymnastics needed for any significant trades this late. I think at best we’d have a chance at a depth dman and that’s about it.

IF - big IF - the Habs do trade for a goalie, you have imagine, especially given the cap situation, that another goalie would be going back in the deal. Something to watch for if the Canadiens do go down that road later in the day.

Le CH a besoin d’un défenseur droitier. En trouvera-t-il un aujourd’hui? Peu importe la réponse, il y a celui-ci, David Reinbacher, qui fleurit tranquillement dans son club-école. Le CH l’a repêché 5e au total en 2023, justement en raison de son profil rare: droitier, mobile, efficace. Aucune certitude pour le futur. Mais à garder en tête.

Je m'attendais à un retour beaucoup plus intéressant pour MacKenzie Weegar. Pas certain de comprendre quelle était l'urgence de le transiger si cette offre était la meilleure sur la table. Je pense que le #CH aurait pu offrir mieux. Mais peut-être aussi que Weegar n'aurait pas levé sa clause de non-échange pour venir à Montréal. Mais bref, solide ajout pour le Mammoth. Ils viennent de prendre une bonne coche! #NHLTradeDeadline

@Null_D3fect7 @nhltraderumours No offence, but "much better" is a tremendous exaggeration. The whole point is they aren't desperate, and Trochek is slow and on the decline. He's also not nearly as good defensively (any more) as he's billed. He wouldn't be free. No thanks.

Je lis les commentaires sous ma proposition d'échange pour Robert Thomas et je me rends compte que les attentes envers Alexander Zharovsky sont démesurées. Les gens ne veulent pas acquérir Thomas, un centre responsable défensivement qui produit plus ou moins un point par match, tout ça avec un excellent contrat en poche à seulement 26 ans. Plusieurs ont mentionné que Zharovsky était un espoir de la trempe de Demidov (dans des mots différents). Faudra revoir nos attentes envers lui parce que même s'il demeure un excellent espoir, on est loin de Demidov. J'en connais une gang qui vont être déçus! ;) ***Autre point: Je suis très surpris que plusieurs d'entre vous le feraient en échangeant Zharovsky pour Hage. Vous semblez être nombreux à préférer Zharovsky à Hage. Et c'est subjectif, chacun son évaluation. Mais ça me surprend! #CH #Habs #Canadiens

The loss to the Sabres underscored a glaring issue with the Montreal Canadiens: a lack of physicality. The Habs played well last night. But you beat the Habs by outmuscling them. The team has expressly identified the need to balance skill with toughness. Work in progress.
