Wade went to the eye doctor today for his 10 day checkup since getting his eye removed. He is doing great and they got all of the cancer out! 😁 Thank you for all of your prayers and kind words.❤️

In our new study in @JournalGIM we find electronic inbox work & turnaround time assoc with pts’ likelihood to recommend female but not male PCPs @BrighamWomens With @DBatesSafety @Ted_Melnick @mollyjeffery @ChristineSinsky @rick_gitomer
David Bates@DBatesSafety

Our paper led by @LisaRotenstein is out in JGIM, for female PCPs only, greater patient medical advice request volume, total message volume, and electronic inbox time were associated with a higher likelihood to recommend. rdcu.be/dmDB6

@rbganatra awesome @thecurbsiders hotcakes episode! In ELEKT-D, does the sensitivity analysis with modified intention-to-treat impact your concern about differential loss in a non-inferiority trial?

@rbganatra Maybe during trial design they wanted to avoid sequential testing halving p=.025 and instead just have one with p=.025

@rbganatra The best answer I could find was in the supplement protocol PDF, page 91: "Since we do not intend to make any claims of superiority or detriment of treatment within the subgroup analysis framework, p-values will not be adjusted for multiplicity."

Help me out here, critical appraisal nerds: In the ELEKT-D trial, it seems to me that ketamine was both non-inferior AND superior to ECT: NI margin: -10% Primary outcome: +14.2% (+3.9 - +24.2) But, the paper doesn't say that. What am I missing? #statstwitter #epitwitter

In the ELEKT-D trial, ketamine was noninferior to electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) as therapy for treatment-resistant major depression without psychosis. Full trial: nej.md/3ODZMPc Editorial: Ketamine and ECT in Depression — Risks and Rewards nej.md/43jyUIR
