The new third tier will be facilitating the rehabilitation of quite a few established overspending Loi clubs. In theory, licensing should protect clubs if implemented correctly. Next 2/3 seasons will tell a lot.

Football is unforgiven , the smallest details can derail the best laid plans. Docherty at left back is the small detail that would have casted doubt in the players mind over the coaching staff & their reputed style of play. Much bigger problems than that team in Irish football

Athlone in uneasy ground here. Will have to go with an interim manager until end of season , any new manager worth their salt will look for a contract that covers next season. Clearly not in a position to offer that ?!
