It's not like the people who buy these don't eat eggs. And waiting in the Costco return line - this couldn't possibly be time-efficient for anybody. Just...eat them? Why is this bothering me so much?!?

It takes some real chutzpah to buy 18 eggs, return 17 perfectly good ones and a single cracked hardboiled egg and say "You need to take these back (and these out because) because I didn't read the giant label on the box."

I was at Costco and bought some hardboiled eggs. They come in a carton clearly labelled 'hard-boiled eggs.' The cashier told me "Make sure these are what you want. A lot of people return these." Just when I thought people couldn't get more shameless...

@bindureddy I'm going to have to disagree with you on this one. Humans will keep moving up the stack. 'Doing stuff that is valuable' is so built into our DNA, AGI isn't going to change it. Most people want to feel useful through work, and AGI won't change that.

We need to stop gaslighting people and claiming that AI will create jobs The entire premise of AGI is to automate work We will have failed, if we don’t automate work and by definition this means fewer jobs, not more of them Humans won’t need to work and that’s a good thing!

@gus_tiffer Get really good at context switching. You don't need a 30 minute routine to get 'in the zone'. Keep your laptop with you. Kid fall asleep on you but if you move she'll wake up? Use that time. Also, (1) lots of coffee, (2) know that it gets easier.

NGL since having a kid my productivity has gone down like 100x I just have less uninterrupted time. Haven’t been able to find a rhythm. I thought 7 weeks in, I’d figure it out. Just can’t figure it out (yet) Dad-builders: how do you do it?
