Regarding this Parliament, I have been patient before, but this term there will be no room for leaders who seek titles without helping the people they lead. I am directing NRM leaders to return to the parishes and ensure that existing government programmes are lifting people out of poverty. I do not want to hear excuses about poverty while solutions already exist. Ministers and government officials who fail in this responsibility will be held accountable. This is Kisanja no sleep . Enough is enough.
I congratulate the Rt. Hon. Speaker Jacob Oboth Oboth and Deputy Speaker Thomas Tayebwa and thank the MPs for carrying out their mandate of voting, peacefully and transparently.
The NRM candidates obtained more votes than the NRM members in the House, and I note the votes our ally Mao took away. We shall address this because we want a united Parliament that serves our people better.
@StateHouseUg ....and especially value addition has never been this exciting and easy. Uganda has earned respect and doors are opening up for great investment, I believe positive publicity is key in maintaining this hard earned position in east Africa, Africa and globally. Thanks president YKM
@StateHouseUg Ugx is currently the most stable currency in Africa against USD. Uganda is the best investment destination in East Africa according to AIM, Uganda has surpassed Ethiopia and currently the biggest coffee exporter in Africa. Bringing investors to the country in agriculture and

Congratulations on the series of elections that we have been having ever since the
15th of January, 2026. These were: the Presidential, the Parliamentary, District Chairpersons, District Councillors, Sub-County Chairpersons and Sub-County Councillors. I, especially, congratulate our
party, the NRM, for winning all those elections with big majorities.
I also congratulate the other parties such as the DP, UPC, etc., that participated
in the elections without using violence unlike the Party of NUP and some few elements of FDC, that were using violence. The parties under IPOD should clearly lay out agreed guidelines on the dos and don’ts of election management, according to the laws and the constitution of Uganda.

Well done to whoever is responsible for this👏👏
Greetings fellow Ugandans, fellow Africans and especially, the Bazzukulu.
I am sending out this message to, first of all, thank God for giving Maama and myself our wonderful children: Muhoozi (Muogi), Natasha (Kukuru), Patience (Pusi) and Kyaremeera (Kyinini)., protecting them and prospering them. Secondly, I want to thank Maama for looking after them especially for the years 1981-86 when she was the only parent near them. Thirdly, I salute the children for going through the school systems and branching out successfully in the different fields of life – family, career, etc.
Fourthly, I thank the Ugandans and some of the Africans for standing with and supporting our family and Political movement in the various endeavours we have been undertaking with them.
On this occasion, on the 24th of April 2026, I want to congratulate Gen. Muhoozi (Muogi) on this 52nd birthday. These children, in particular Muhoozi, were born in the resistance, grew up in the resistance, and, in various ways, have made significant contribution to the resistance. Gen. Muhoozi has made significant contribution to fighting corruption in the Army and increasing the lethality of the UPDF.
The meeting today in Nairobi
should have happened 10 years ago. @KagutaMuseveni was spot on on banning the export of critical raw materials. Africa and Nigeria have not taken advantage of the likes of Ali Dangote t for transformation. The refinery has bailed out West Africa and Africa in the current oil crisis , and @AlikoDangote offer to build one in East should be urgently followed up by the Jumiya states. The silver lining for war in the Middle East is waking us up. This is is a true definition of energy security, which should also be extended to heavy investment in clean energy.
A 13-year-old Kenyan girl, identified as Beryl Akumu from Luanda, has sparked concern online after a viral video showed her stranded in Kampala, Uganda.
In the emotional clip, Beryl explains that she had travelled to Uganda with her cousin, but the two lost contact shortly after arriving, leaving her alone in a foreign country with no means to return home. She is now appealing to well-wishers and authorities for help to reunite with her family in Kenya.

First excuse: "It's Christmas and holidays, people are not buying. They're busy eating, drinking and travelling." Okay, we waited.
January comes: "Election fever is too much. Everyone is waiting to see what happens."
We said, fine, politics first.

Let me tell you the real story of doing business in Uganda. Last November 2025, we set up a nice estate in Mukono. Plots ready, titles in order, everything clean. We thought, "This one will move fast." 4 months later... it is still sitting there like a mugole waiting for a man!

@KE_MrBlack You will need to add some more money to afford the small bottle of Coca-Cola, maybe you might get some 6pcs for PK sweets. So for a plot Bado uko mbali sana mzee

I slept in a small Motel in Ntungamo. The rooms are decent and there is warm water. The challenge is that the investor left the business to people looking for jobs. My brother told me that the Americans say: never put more than 500$ in anything you will not personally supervise. Now I know why Mr. Mandela is doing well. I have found him many times at his eateries waiting on tables and checking on the experience of his clients!
That Motel will not last long if the owner, whoever that is, does not fix customer experience.
