#Apple #iOS26 I can’t get over how clunky iOS 26 is. So many bugs in so many different apps. I don’t think there’s ever been one that has been this way since I’ve been using iPhone. Hopefully they will get it dialed in one day soon.

During the Last Supper, Jesus speaks to his disciples as a bridegroom speaks to his bride. Besides being a memorial meal, the Supper is also a pointer to an engagement, the first step on the way to marriage. The disciples drink wine with Jesus, and afterward Jesus says: ‘I tell you that I will not drink of the fruit of the vine from now on until the day when I drink it anew with you in the Kingdom of My Father’ (Matthew 26:29). Jesus also says: ‘In My Father’s house are many rooms. I am going to prepare a place for you. And if I go and make a place for you, I will come back and take you to Myself, so that you may be where I am’ (John 14:3). As Jewish Galilean men, the disciples would have immediately understood that Jesus is referring here to the Jewish Galilean wedding ritual. The Bridegroom, the Lord Jesus, goes with the marriage contract, the New Covenant, sealed with His blood, to the house of His Father. There He builds the bridal chamber and prepares a place for her (the church). And that is the place from where He will return to fetch His Bride and take her along to consummate and celebrate the marriage. There the wine is drunk again, just as Jesus promised His disciples at the Lord's Supper. While the world is in tribulation, we are in the Bridal Chamber for a period of seven years.
