@mattklink, president of Klink Campaigns mentioned that while the 14th was instituted to right historic wrongs, it has very little bearing on the current reality of immigration in the United States, highlighting Birth tourism and illegal immigration as the most pressing issues.

“There will be a reckoning.” @joel_rayburn, senior fellow at the Hudson Institute, suggested a withdrawal from NATO is unlikely. However, he noted that European allies face internal political constraints shaping their foreign policy, citing the United Kingdom and Spain as examples, and said some countries could face political consequences following the conclusion of Operation Epic Fury.

“It’s outdated.” @TrustyLawyer also criticized the American Civil Liberties Union legal director’s interpretation of the Fourteenth Amendment, arguing it overlooks national security and election integrity concerns. He said birth tourism has contributed to a system that creates Manchurian candidates.

“Trump was right to raise it.” @TrustyLawyer praised President Trump for highlighting the modern implications of birthright citizenship. He argued the Fourteenth Amendment was written before the existence of federal immigration policy, and pointed to today’s concerns over dual citizenship and national security risks tied to birth tourism.

Former federal prosecutor Jim Trusty weighed in on the Supreme Court’s birthright citizenship case, arguing the 14th Amendment’s original intent is being stretched in today’s world. He pointed to concerns over birth tourism, national security, and legal interpretations around allegiance—while defending Trump’s executive order as targeting abuse, not rewriting the Constitution.

Joel Rayburn of the Hudson Institute says Iran’s regime may no longer be able to suppress its people after major military and leadership losses during Operation Epic Fury. He also weighed in on NATO, calling the alliance strong overall but warning that certain countries could face consequences for failing to support U.S. efforts—echoing growing frustration from Trump and Rubio.

Matt Klink says birthright citizenship is outdated, widely abused, and can’t be fixed by executive order—Congress must act. He credits @realDonaldTrump for tackling the issue but blames lawmakers for inaction. Klink also expects Trump’s upcoming address to focus on Iran, gas prices, and criticism of NATO.
