@LumixUSA Did you know this video was set to private after it went live? I watched the second half of it but was hoping to see the start. Will it come back again?

@affinitybyserif I really like the Affinity Suite but the reliance on LibRaw makes it useless to users with new cameras which is a real shame 🫤 The GH6 came out 8 months ago and there is still no Raw support.

@stevelitton @edfenergy Been asking for weeks for a replacement but they can keep telling me to be patient as it might reconnect! Nearly seven weeks ! 🤪

@jasharris69 @edfenergy Oh we had that with our Geo smart meter, we just complained to EDF, they sent us a different smart meter (chameleon I think) through the post, we registered it online and it worked fine.

Affinity
Affinity@Affinity·
@stevelitton Hi there! Affinity uses LibRAW for RAW support in Photo - meaning we must wait for LibRAW to add support for this model, before we can add support in Affinity. We hope that this camera will be included shortly, but unfortunately I cannot provide an ETA currently, my apologies.

@affinitybyserif any news on when RAW support for the Panasonic GH6 will be coming to Affinity Photo? Adobe Lightroom/Photoshop added support over 2 months ago.

@stevelitton @panasonic I'm currently using an S5 dummy battery, which works for video, but it freezes up when shooting stills. Yes, the grip on the GH5 was awesome, still use it on my old GH5.

@panasonic it's frustrating for me as an event video shooter to see that there is no battery grip for the GH6 available. PD power sounds nice on paper, but there is no solution that won't turn my camera into an unergonomic mess. Please fix that and make a grip!

@LightmountainJL @panasonic It is a shame, I used to like the battery grip on the GH5. I was hoping Power Junkie would make a compatible dummy battery but they don't seem to be interested.

@stevelitton @panasonic Thanks for your input. That's true that they can't do that, which makes it so frustrating. They could provide a good dummy battery solution, because it's very buggy using one for photography atm. I am now tinkering on a powerbank solution so I can use it as a hybrid. 😀

@SpectreMG @LumixUSA @vistek Hey Glenn, that red line issue is definitely not across all cameras. It could be a hardware issue specifically on your camera but definitely try using some different high speed cards before sending back the camera for repair. I had a similar issue with my GH5 using Lexar cards.
