@DudespostingWs I’ve always thought this is the best part of that moment. I wonder what was going through their minds as they watched team USA celebrate like that. It’s almost like they were envious that it meant so much to them. Such an incredible moment!

Joe Flacco went on a rant with @bykevinclark about how football 15 years ago was tougher. “I don’t think it should be roughing when they land on us. Or being slapped on the head is roughing. It affects games in a negative way.” Full clip is must-watch.

I looked for the strongest arguments on why people oppose VOTER ID. The top two are as follows: 1) In the U.S., the right to vote is protected under the Constitution (14th, 15th, 24th, and 26th Amendments). So if voting becomes conditional on having an ID, it's creating a barrier to a civil right. 2) The DMV sucks and is time consuming to go to, particularly for those who have to take time off to do so, students or rural voters. It's also more difficult for elderly voters to obtain, argue those opposed to it. A 2020 study by the Brennan Center for Justice found that 11% of eligible voters in the U.S. do not have government-issued photo ID and that this disproportionately affects the groups mentioned above.

What sensible forward thinking cutting edge leading nation is having a DEBATE on whether or not there should be VOTER ID?!?!!!! Like?!?!? They’re actually fighting NOT to have ppl present ID while voting for your leaders!!!!! Do you get it?!?!!!! Do you get it now?!?!!!

The Wilson hit on Stankoven led to everything. Stankoven ran himself out of position trying to deliver his own hit. Just play.

With the hiring of Todd Monken, it tells me a lot. There’s someone with power in the Cleveland Browns organization who believes their franchise QB is already in the building. It suggests that Kevin Stefanski’s firing may have been solely due to his mishandling of Shedeur Sanders. They hired Monken because of his extensive experience coaching strong offenses and his ability to develop a QB. Haters won’t like it or think he deserves it, but the Browns are getting ready to build around #12.

@FirstTake @mspears96 1) The Browns are likely the most dysfunctional franchise in professional sports history. 2)There is not an organization in professional sports history who has hired more minorities at every level of the organization. This is why no one takes these people seriously. 🤡🤡🤡

@LanceReisland @jcs0910 No one is mad at Monken, they’re irritated that once again, their owner stepped into overrule the people he hired to be good at this.

I think some of the anger toward Todd Monken is misplaced. If you think he is a bad coach, I would push back hard on that. His track record says the opposite. He builds real game plans, he finds matchups, and he has consistently put stress on good defenses. That does not happen by accident. If you are frustrated, I understand it. But that frustration should not be aimed at Monken. It should be aimed at how this was handled by the organization. The lack of transparency made it feel like they settled instead of targeted him, and that shaped the narrative before he ever coached a game. That is on the front office and ownership, not on the coach. Todd Monken did not hire himself. He took a job and now has to coach football. That is what he does, and he has done it well at multiple stops. So before we label him as a bad coach, let’s at least give him a chance to show what he can do. Judge him on his work, not on how the Browns rolled out the hire. The criticism belongs with the process, not the coach. #Browns
